WHAT FAVOR CAN DO...THE STORY OF OLAJUMOKE

The story of the sudden turnaround of a 27 years old Nigerian lady who slept a bread hawker and wake up a celebrity is no longer news. Currently, she is the most googled person in Nigeria just between two months. Someone may be  tempted to ask, why the sudden change? is she the most beautiful girl in Nigeria?, is she the most educated or is she the only bread hawker in Lagos streets?. The answer is NO, so what then brought about the sudden lifting from grass to glory, that even churches now uses her pix in program banners. It is far from being ordinary, let me ask: where are the Phd, Bsc, Hnd and whatever certificate holders. Where are the beautiful young Nigerian girls messing themselves up in modelling schools scattered across the country in a quest to become a model: Apostle Paul said in 1 Cor 1:27-29:

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:That no flesh should glory in his presence.

Yes, it is not qualification, beauty and not even labor. It's Joseph order of favor which can only be given by the Almighty God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and permit me to add Joseph. It is not by virtue of what you have done or what you have not done. God says:
...and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. Exodus 33:19
When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
what attracted my attention most in this story is the fact that this lady is going about her business, she is living Proverb 22:29, she is been diligent hawking Agege Bread while hoping for a better future, she is not like many of us in the Christendom who claim to be waiting on the Lord while doing nothing. Such people are wasting without knowing.  It is important to wait on the Lord but much more important is what you are doing while waiting. So get busy, start that small business, God will surely meet you there, if you are faithful with the little in your hands.

From non-entity to a celebrity
From sleeping in bakery to luxury Apartment in Lagos
That's what favor can do...
Remain blessed.

TIME THE MOST VALUABLE RESOURCE IN THE WORLD.

Time is an invaluable resource and it tops the chart of waste resource in Africa. I guess this is why business in the west are more successful and enduring than what we have in Africa. In the developed countries, time is money; this means a man's value is evaluated based on what he can produce on hourly basis. There was a popular analysis that either sleep or awake, Bill Gate makes 4 million dollars every passing day. In America, an attorney earns $250-$300 dollars an hour. A garbage man earns $8 dollar for the same hour. This shows the value of each's input, they don't go late for appointments (as we do here), all events (government or private) starts at the exact schedule time frame. if you go to work late three times, you will be fired and replaced almost immediately without any apology. In Africa we have accepted waste of time as a norm; we even call it 'Africa time'. This celebration of mediocrity is the reason we cannot compete favorably with developed...

YOUTH EMPOWERMENT  RE-INVENTING THE WHEEL OF NEW STRATEGY FOR SUCCESS PART II TAKE RISK, CALCULATED RISK: Once you have seen what it will take to move forward, the next thing is to pay the price. Remember the wise saying, " it is risky not to take risks". The question we should ask ourselves is not; what will it cost me if i take this risk', rather we should ask ourselves, what will it cost me if i don't take this risk'.
